Press Release :
The second annual “Rock for Tots” Holiday Benefit Concert was held on
November 29th at Bennoco's Beef and Brew on rt. 590 in Hamlin, Pa.
Elektrixstudio.com hosted a night of food, music and prizes to raise money
for the Wayne County Children’s Christmas Bureau. Many local businesses
and individuals donated their time, food, gift certificates and prizes for
the event. The evening started with music by DJ Michael Saylor, followed
by an awesome performance by Glen Scandur on Acoustic Guitar. All
performers combined for a set of Christmas songs and then the Erie Heights
Band took the stage. It was an evening of non-stop music and fun for all
who attended. Door prizes were called throughout the evening and raffle
prizes were drawn several times between performance sets. The winner of
the grand prize, a night at Caesar’s Resorts, was Patsy Cordaro. A total
of $1100.00 was raised and presented to the WCCCB by beneficiary
representative, Carleen Faatz. Elektrixstudio.com and event organizers,
Joe Longo and Carleen Faatz, would like to thank everyone that contributed
to make this a successful event. The Wayne County Children’s Christmas
Bureau accepts donations throughout the year. Anyone wishing to contribute

Mission
Statement
For us, a Benefit Concert is an event,
organized and held, on behalf of an individual(s) or
organization, to help fulfill financial
needs caused by tragedy or misfortune; uniting
musicians, businesses, and neighbors for a single purpose.
Since we, as a team, are
involved in the local music scene, working within the community, and working
with local businesses, we are are in a prime position to combine these
resources and accomplish something good.
As musicians, business people, and
community members ourselves we find, that by coordinating these events, we are not only helping the parties in
need; we are also able to help our community, promote our band(s) as well as
other local musicians, and promote local businesses as well.
A Benefit Concert brings us
all together to help those in need, provide entertainment for a cause, and
provide those involved an opportunity to network within the community.
The circumstances may
be dire that create the need for a benefit in the first place, but the
result of a Benefit Concert Event can turn a negative situation into a
positive, Win - Win scenario for everyone involved.
We appreciate your help and support. Your participation,
contributions, and attendance are what make our Benefit Concert Events
successful. Thank you and have a safe, happy Holiday Season.
